Update Your Profile Details
This section will guide you on how to update your account details, including first name and last name, and individual usernames on your account.
Follow these steps to update the profile details of your IDrive® Compute account,
- Sign in to your IDrive® Compute account.
- Click My Account under the account icon in the top right corner.
- From the LHS menu, choose Profile Details.
- Update your name, and other account information, and click Save Changes.
Change/Update Your Account Password
Cybersecurity recommendations suggest that changing your password every 3 months is a great security measure. Additionally, it is always advisable to change or update your password after any suspected security breach.
Follow these steps to change your IDrive® Compute account password,
- Sign in to your IDrive® Compute account.
- Go to My Account under the account icon on the top right corner.
- Under Profile Details, select Change Password.
- Enter your current password, followed by the new password, and confirm the password.
- Click Update.
Reset Your Forgotten Password
If you forget your account password, you can easily reset your password using the email linked to your IDrive® Compute account. If your email/username exists in our system, you will receive an email with instructions to reset the password.
Follow these steps to reset your IDrive® Compute account password
- Go to the Sign-in page.
- Click Forgot your password.
- Enter your email address linked to the account. Click Send Link. The link to set a new password for your account will be sent to the email address.
- In the email sent by support@idrivecompute.com click Reset password to set a new password. You will be redirected to IDrive® Compute to update your password.
- Enter a new password for your IDrive® Compute account, confirm the password, and click Update.
You can now sign in with your updated password.
